Cumbrae is just 10 minutes from the mainland (Largs) and a daytrip or summer holiday to Millport, the island’s main town, which has always been a popular tourist destination. With a variety of facilities for people of all ages, Millport is the ideal destination with plenty to keep kids and adults alike entertained. Access to the Island is by means of a ferry which runs from Largs. A bus meets the ferry which departs from Largs Pier every 15 minutes in the summer, and every 30 minutes in the winter.
